2. Description of Service

WhisperAPI provides automated transcription services for audio and video files. We offer both free and paid subscription plans with different features and usage limits.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or service restrictions
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
  • Share your account credentials with others

5. Payment Terms

  • All payments are one-time, non-recurring charges
  • Payments are non-refundable once processed
  • API credits purchased never expire
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

6. Data Security

WhisperAPI implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption at Rest: All uploaded videos and audio files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption with GCM (Galois/Counter Mode) when stored in our Cloudflare R2 storage infrastructure
  • Encryption in Transit: All data transfers between your device and our servers are secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) encryption
  • Automatic File Deletion: All uploaded media files are automatically deleted after 24 hours to protect your privacy
  • Secure Infrastructure: Our storage and processing infrastructure is managed by enterprise-grade cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance

7. Service Level Agreement

  • We strive to maintain 99.9% service uptime
  • Transcription accuracy may vary based on audio quality
  • We do not guarantee specific turnaround times
  • Service maintenance windows will be announced in advance

8. Limitation of Liability

WhisperAPI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
